He continually experiments, and through trial and error, comes out with surprising and unique results. Some of Dave’s most sought after pens are those he has made by casting pine cones, watch parts and pencil crayons. He also uses a stabilization and dying process to make his wood products even more unique in colour and appearance. The body of each and every pen Dave makes is hand made using a lathe.
