Crooked Finger Tattoo Studio is a vibrant, artist-led space in the heart of Halifax’s North End — the city’s hub of creativity and culture. Founded in 2022 by twin sisters Charlotte Brumwell (aka Gin Wolf) and Victoria Brumwell, the studio brings together a multidisciplinary approach to tattooing rooted in fine art, personal expression, and deep community ties.

With over a decade of experience in Halifax’s tattoo scene, Charlotte has helped shape a studio that celebrates artistic individuality and maximalist aesthetics. Home to four diverse artists, Crooked Finger offers a wide range of styles — from bold traditional and fine black and grey, to rich colour work, contemporary designs, and folky, story-driven tattoos.
